Get the client

WolfOTS: one client, three platforms, the same account. It updates itself: every start checks the WolfOTS update channel and fetches only what changed, signed and checked, from nowhere else.

  3. Log in with your account name and password. See what is new in the changelog.

Coming from the 1.0 client?

  • The new WolfOTS replaces the 1.0 client, which gets no more updates. Same account, same characters.
  • Android: the new APK installs over the 1.0 app. Windows and Linux: unpack the new client into a new folder, not over the old one. The first start takes over your options, hotkeys and action bars; type your password once.
  • Tried the beta? It moves to the main update channel by itself. On Android the test app can be uninstalled once WolfOTS works.

Android

What you need

  • Android 9.0 or newer
  • A 64-bit (arm64) phone - the package carries no 32-bit build
  • About 1.2 GB free for the download and the installation: the app is about 540 MB and has the game graphics inside

How to install it

  1. Download the APK on your phone, over Wi-Fi if you can.
  2. Open it. If Android asks, allow installing apps from this source - your browser or file manager.
  3. Had the 1.0 WolfOTS app? This one installs over it and takes over your settings. Type your password once.
  4. Tried the test app "WolfOTS Mehah (test)"? It is a separate app: it moves to the new update channel by itself, and you can uninstall it once WolfOTS works.
  5. Had the much older client (version 3.2.x)? It is another app: uninstall it by hand.

  • A 64-bit Linux with glibc 2.31 or newer - Ubuntu 20.04+, Debian 11+, Linux Mint 20+, Fedora 32+
  • OpenGL and X11. On Debian and Ubuntu: sudo apt install libgl1 libx11-6
  • About 750 MB free: the archive is about 180 MB and unpacks to about 535 MB, graphics included

How to install it

  1. Unpack the archive into a new folder (not over the 1.0 client): tar -xzf WolfOTS-Linux-x64-2.1.tar.gz
  2. Start it: cd WolfOTS-2-Linux-x64 && ./wolfots.sh
  3. Settings, hotkeys and updates are kept in ~/.local/share/wolfots-mehah/. The first start takes over the settings of the 1.0 client.

  • About 750 MB free: the archive is about 180 MB and unpacks to about 535 MB, graphics included

How to install it

  1. Unpack WolfOTS-Windows-x64-2.1.zip into a new folder (right click, Extract All) - not over the 1.0 client.
  2. Open the WolfOTS-2-Windows-x64 folder and start WolfOTS.exe.
  3. Windows may say it protected your PC, because the program is not signed with a paid certificate: click More info, then Run anyway. It asks only the first time.
  4. Settings, hotkeys and updates are kept in %APPDATA%\WolfOTS. The first start takes over the settings of the 1.0 client.

To check a download, run sha256sum on it (on Windows: certutil -hashfile with the file name and SHA256) and compare the result with the checksum on the card.
