The Wolf Project

Changelog

What every client update changed, the same list the game client shows. Current build: 32.

Build 32 – Real numbers, and a colour for every level

2026-09-17

  • The item panel now shows an upgraded item's own attack, defence and armour, with what the level added: "61 (+11)", not the plain 50 the item type carries.
  • Every upgrade level has its own colour, from the first green step through blue to the gold and red of a +9 and a +10.
  • The item's name wears that colour too, so one look tells you how far it has come.

Build 31 – Upgrades in the item panel

2026-09-17

  • The item panel now tells you what an upgraded item is worth: its level, what that level adds, and the traits it carries.
  • It says this for anything you are carrying, worn or packed away in a bag.
  • A plain item stays quiet about it, so only real upgrades take up room.

Build 30 – The whole description

2026-09-17

  • The item panel no longer cuts a long description short: the card grows to fit every line of it.
  • A weapon with a story to tell, such as the cobrafang dagger, now reads in full.

Build 29 – The item panel

2026-09-17

  • On a computer, resting the pointer on an item now opens a small panel: the item's own picture, what it is called, and what it does.
  • Weapons and armour list their attack, defence and armour, the level and vocation they ask for, and what they weigh - the same numbers the server uses.
  • An item that carries a description shows it under a dividing line.
  • Nothing changes on a phone, where a finger does not hover.

Build 28 – Item names on hover

2026-09-17

  • On a computer, resting the pointer on an item tells you what it is: in your equipment and in every bag you have open.
  • A stack is named in the plural, the way the game names it: rest the pointer on your money and it reads "100 gold coins".
  • The names come from the server's own item list, so nearly every item in the game has one.

Build 27 – Clickable words and hover hints

2026-09-17

  • When an NPC offers you a choice, the words it offers are highlighted in the chat and you can click them instead of typing.
  • Ask the Oracle about a town and simply click Thais, Carlin or Venore.
  • The braces around those words are gone: the highlight shows what can be clicked.
  • The chat now always follows the newest line again, instead of stopping after a few lines.
  • On a computer, resting the pointer on a button explains what it does: the top bar, the battle list filters, the fight and chase modes and the Options.

Build 26 – Click an NPC to talk

2026-09-17

  • Click or tap an NPC to start talking to it. No need to type "hi" any more.
  • If the NPC is further away, your character walks up to it first and greets it on arrival.
  • The creature menu has a new "Talk" entry for NPCs. Alt and a click still attacks, if you ever need it.

Build 25 – Straighter walking

2026-09-17

  • Arrow keys now walk straight. Pressing the next arrow before letting go of the previous one no longer sends your character diagonally.
  • Walking diagonally with two arrow keys at once is now a choice: Options, "Smart walk". It starts switched off.

Build 24 – Client log in Diagnostics

2026-09-17

  • Diagnostics has a new Log tab: read the client's own log in game, on the phone as well as on the computer.
  • Filter the log for warnings and errors, or search it for a word.
  • Copy the log, or export it to a file on the computer, when you report a problem.

Build 23 – Chat at the bottom

2026-09-17

  • The chat now sits at the bottom of the screen across its full width, as in classic clients.
  • Side panels keep a readable height: when there is no room, the panel you opened longest ago folds away instead of being squeezed.
  • Buttons on the minimap, outfit, VIP list, NPC trade and the action bar got matching icons.

Build 22 – New look across the client

2026-09-16

  • The interface now matches the new login screen: panels, cards, buttons, lists and menus share one look.
  • Rounded health and mana bars, a clearer character block and a framed top bar.
  • Windows and message boxes got matching frames, and the quest log marks the quest you opened last.

Build 21 – New login screen

2026-09-15

  • A fresh look for the login screen, with a night landscape behind a clean login card.
  • Tap the eye in the password field to show or hide your password.
  • Login problems now appear in a clear box above the Log in button.

Build 20 – Tidier menus

2026-09-15

  • The main menu no longer cuts its last row on short screens.
  • Search and filter boxes show a hint of what to type.
  • Staff tools got clearer labels, colours and layouts. Nothing changes for players.

Build 19 – Clearer windows

2026-09-15

  • Scroll bars, labels, window titles and selected rows are easier to see, and disabled buttons look disabled.
  • The main menu scrolls when it does not fit on small screens.
  • The message of the day now dims the screen behind it.
  • Better quest testing tools for server staff. Nothing changes for players.

Build 18 – Staff tools

2026-09-15

  • Internal tools for server staff. Nothing changes for players.

Build 17 – Item upgrades

2026-09-14

  • Weapons, shields, helmets, armors, legs and boots can be upgraded up to +10 with upgrade stones and gold. Stones drop from monsters.
  • Every level raises attack, defense or armor by 3%. Levels +3, +6 and +9 unlock a random trait.
  • From +5 a failed upgrade lowers the item one level unless you use a protection stone.
  • Open Menu, Upgrade, or use a stone on an item.

Build 16 – Wolf channel

2026-09-14

  • New connection channel between the client and the server, the base for upcoming Wolf systems such as item upgrades.
  • Diagnostics shows the channel state, round trip, server name, players online, uptime and server time, and runs a channel test when opened in game.

Build 15 – Store

2026-09-13

  • Store: open it from the Menu. Browse categories and offers, see your coin balance and buy with a confirmation.
  • Check your purchase history and send coins to another character.
  • On computers the store opens as a window in the middle of the screen; on phones as a full-screen card.

Build 14 – Stamina and training time

2026-09-13

  • Stamina and offline training show only the time left, without a percentage.

Build 13 – Messages beside the character block

2026-09-13

  • Map messages (loot, level ups, warnings) no longer cover the character block. On small screens they appear below or next to it.
  • Update and first-start messages are now in English.

Build 12 – Character block fix

2026-09-13

  • On phones the offline training label no longer runs into its time and percentage. When space is short, names in the character block are shortened; full names are in the character card.
  • The changelog is now in English.

Build 11 – Stamina and offline training

2026-09-13

  • The character block shows stamina and offline training bars under the skills.
  • New Changelog window: shows what changed after every update. Open it any time from the login screen or from the Menu in game.

Build 10 – Skills in the character block

2026-09-13

  • Skills are always visible in the character block on the left, under health and mana. There is no separate skills window anymore.
  • Tap or click the skills to open the character card: experience, speed, soul, capacity and special skills.

Build 9 – Skills

2026-09-13

  • Skills with bars and the percentage to the next level.

Build 8 – WolfProject

2026-09-13

  • The login screen and the Engine line in Diagnostics show the WolfProject name.

Build 7 – Version number

2026-09-13

  • The client version is shown as "WolfProject Version 1.0 (Build n) PROTOCOL 1.0" on the start screen and in Diagnostics.

Build 6 – Solid window background

2026-09-13

  • Trade and quest log windows have a solid background; the map no longer shows through them.

Build 5 – Windows in the middle of the screen

2026-09-13

  • On computers, NPC trade, player trade and the quest log open as windows in the middle of the screen.
  • Drag a window by its title bar; it remembers its position, and Esc closes it.

Build 4 – Hotkeys, trade, VIP and minimap

2026-09-13

  • Hotkeys F1-F12 and an on-screen action bar.
  • NPC trade and player trade.
  • VIP list, minimap, outfit window and quest log.
  • Party options in the character menu.
  • A common Menu in the top bar, the same on phones and computers.

Build 3 – Background updates

2026-09-13

  • The client checks for updates every 10 minutes and when you return to the app.
  • Nothing is installed while you play: the update waits until you log out, then offers a "Restart" button.

Build 2 – Map fixes

2026-09-13

  • Killed monsters no longer "come back" on the map.
  • The view no longer loses pieces of the map.
